Here are some of my other animal (other than cats and dogs) figural napkin rings that are in my collection. Some others are also in the category "napkin rings on wheels".

This is a private collection display of figural napkin rings and toothpick holders, and some other figurals (such as card trays, and knife rests).
Most of these items were made in the USA from about 1860 to 1900. Some are available
FOR SALE/or SWAP.

As a collector I am not really interested in selling any figural napkin rings or toothpick holders that I only have one of (You can still ask though).
I am prepared to sell or swap any items I have more than one of. Swaps will be on the basis of comparable value.

ALL PRICES ON APPLICATION. You can contact me via the link below.

As a collector I am always interested in buying anything I do not already have.

Two squirrels sit upright at either end of this figural napkin ring, with the ring sitting on a pedestal. Must have been the first figural Hartford made.

a squirrel eating nuts sits on top of a tapered log-shaped napkin ring, decorated with leaves and nuts.

2 x a squirrel sits on a branch which also forms the base for the napkin ring with a decorated edge.
I cannot find any markings on it, but it is definitely an oldie. One on left looks to have been replated, but may have just been well kept.
Condition is excellent. One available

A squirrel eating a nut/accorn next to pieced (this is quite unusual, being pieced) napkin ring, marked Apollo Silver Co. 133, who only made a few napkin rings in their short time of existence.

This is a lovely figural napkin ring with an unusual shaped napkin ring with a divided swirling pattern on either side of the ring. The maker's name is not marked on this, as far as I can tell, but I guarantee it is a genuine antique figural napkin ring. I cannot find any reference to it from my books etc, so it must be quite rare. The detail on the squirrel is as per usual superb.

A squirrel pulls along a napkin ring sitting on a branch with a leaf and berry. In vg to excellent. I cannot see any maker's name or number. Guaranteed Victorian though.

I am not sure what this animalis. It looks like a rabbit/bunny with the long ears, but like a squirrel with it's bushy tail. It is marked 0259 under the animal.

Same as the ring above

dancing horse on unusual shaped base jumping up onto napkin ring, marked Webster 157, Excellent condition.

Similar design to above, but with a smaller horse jumping up towards a napkin ring.
Also on a scoll design base. maker and number not marked.

Another horse figural napkin ring. KSC (Knickerbocker Silver Company) 230.

A horse stands on an oval base next to beautifully engraved napkin ring in the 4-leaf clover shape. Excellent condition. Marked as made by Knickerbocker Silver Co. 1276

A horse stands next to a round napkin ring on an oval base. Very similar to the Knickerbocker napkin ring above. There is another napkin ring by knickerbocker with a horse next to a round napkin ring, but it on a rectangular base and is #1278. The knickerbocker napkin rings all had the horse on the right side of the napkin ring (looking at it from the front), where as this napkin ring made by Columbia Silver Co #C110, has the horse on the left hand side. I have researched the Columbia Silver Co.. It was in existence in the 1890's but there are no records of where it operated from.   The condition of this rare napkin ring good but it has significant areas of silver plate loss (flaking).

kangaroo next to nicely designed napkin ring, unmarked

Although this figural napkin ring has a kangaroo it is American and not Australian made. It is c 1880, and if very similar to the one above buit the kangaroo is now facing to the side. Unmarked as to maker and number.

2 x lion lying down with napkin ring on its back, marked Meriden B Company 152.
The first one has some corrosion/ loss of silverplate, whereas the second is in excellent condition.

The first ring is available
FOR SALE/or SWAP.

Two rampant lions on either side of a pieced napkin ring. In original aged condition, some plate loss.
Marked as made by  Phillip Ashberry & Sons.
Phillip Ashberry began trading in 1829 making Britannia  metal wares.
The company with his sons operated from 1856-1935 in Shefield. It is very unusual to find many British figural napin rings.
I would date this from the late 19th century.
It is also numbered #23, with an o underneath. The "o" may be a date stamp, which for shefield would be 1957 or 1881.
I would suggest the latter.

A lion stands next to a child size engraved napkin ring, unmarked, but definitely antique.

A fabulous llama napkin ring with frilled pie-crust edge.

This napkin ring has a rabbit on one side and a leaf with an (easter) egg on the other side, in excellent condition, marked Victor Silver Co. 547.

This is a very rare napkin ring with a rabbit on either side of the napkin ring (actually holding ring on their backs).
The ring has an embossed edge and is decoratively engraved with leaves and such. Not marked but guaranteed authentic and antique.

This is a rare napkin ring with two rabbits sitting on a rocky base with a nicely decorated napkin ring behind.
Marked with the number 68 near the base. The books say this napkin ring was made by Pairpoint. In aged condition. The ring is a bit bent.

A WMF (German silverplate company that also produced a lot of figurals in the late 1800s/early 1900s) rabbit napkin ring. In exceptional condition. You would swear it was silver, but I am pretty sure it is silverplate. This probably dates from the 1920s.

This has to be one of teh best napkin rings that has come my way, It has a baby deer (is that a fawn?) standing at a fence along a beautifully shaped napkin ring.
In excellent condition, marked 0282, attributed to Meriden Silver Plate Co., in book by Victor Schnadig.

This is cute as.  It has a baby deer/fawn standing on a square base with protruding corners, next to a lovely napkin ring embossed with a cherub and flowers. Marked Reed & Bartin 1807.

Two deers sit on either side of this napkin ring connected to them by their antlers. Marked Webster 158.

A sitting pig has a flattened napkin ring resting up against it behind. There is a hallmark on the pig's chest that I cannot make out.

Looks liek a lamb or sheep (or maybe even a dog) on top of a triangular shaped napkin ring.

In this figural napkin ring, a monkey stands upright on a rocky design oval shaped base pushing a napkn ring.
It is marked Anchor Silver Plate Co., which is listed in G&W's book, but I cannot find a number.
Has a nice darlish patina. The top would ahve been cleaned some time ago but still with nice patina.
The ring is a bit worn at the front because this is where you tend to crab the ring when picking it up.

This is a lovely figural napkin ring made by Rogers Smith & co (Meriden) # 269, with a camel.
