This is a very old Gaelic Old Smuggler (EMBOSSED ON BOTTOM) bottle made of what appears to be for all intense and purposes black glass...only by shining a very bright light behind it can you detect that it is actually amber. It has an applied top. I have not cleaned the bottle at all for the photo. The bottle stands 26 cms tall.

This is a very old black glass (amber) bottle made for (embossed on shoulder) W. Burmester Oporto (I guess that is an old name for port)...the bottle has a pontil or kickup with a small bubble of glass in the middle of it....the glass is a very darl amber...so bottle looks black unless viewed with light behind....has applied top....standing 30 cms tall.

This is an Early fruit/pickles jar made by Davidson Ltd of Kalgoorlie. It is embossed. Embossing also says GOOD AS GOLD. In excellent condition, very clean bottle / jar, stands 20 cms high.

This is a C.H. Elliot lamont bottle (older than Codd marble stopper bottles). It is embossed, and has an applied top. The bottle is in overall good condition but has three SMALL sheared chips on the top lip...does not really detract from the beauty of the bottle...still worthy of collection....there are no cracks and no staining...the stopper inside looks to be made of wood. it is 23 cms tall. Buy more than one bottle and save on postage big time.
