Stunning c1900 rosewood and marble statue of Chinese warriorItem number: 08022131 Price: $325
A spectacular carved mask of a Chinese warrior fitted on a large marble base. The wood is prized rosewood. I also believe the teeth on the man and the dragons on his head are ivory. The eyes are also quite stunning. The statue stands 45 cms high (1'6") and the marble block is 10 x 10 x 17 cms. I believe this was made around the turn of the century c1900.
