A nice little silver plated and decorated cigarette case made by Hill Shenstone. Inside is the typicel golden colour and the outside is a typical silver colour. The outside is also finely patterned. Measures 10 cms x 8.5 cms. the case is also quite heavy and solid. The front is also inscribed with "From Dad". Both hinges and bands and case in general is in excellent condition.

Old style "Opal" lighter with flint and gas. Works well. In excellent condition. Stands 6.5 cms tall. Could do with a bit of a clean. Photo misrepresents the lighter. It is sliver colour (plated) throughout except right at bottom.

antique chinese opium smoking pipeItem number: 15112340 Price: $45
This is an antique chinese opium pipe. I have another for sale under bottles where the bottle is more spherical in shape. The pipe is compete, with cleaner as well. the metal parts are made of brass, copper and maybe bronze. If you look at the other pipe for sale you will see how ell the metal can come up with a bit of polishing (another word for elbow grease). The main part of the pipe stands 16 cms tall, and the mouth piece extends another 21 cms beyond that. The china part of the pipe is crazed as would be expected of such an old pipe. I am told that these pipes were quite common at one period in China in the 19th century.

Superb depression milky URANIUM glass ashtrayItem number: 25122354 Price: $100
A lovely URANIUM glass ashtray (glows under UV light)...advertises King George IV OLD SCOTCH WHISKY ....measues 15.5 cms diameter and 3.5 cms high. Uranium glass is highly sought-after and found in milky glass like this is quite unusual. The usual color of the ashtray in normal light is a pale greeny-yellow.
